At The Learning Tree Explorers, we provide before and after-school care, as well as child care during the school holidays, to children 5 - 12 years old, helping parents who need extra support outside of school hours.

🎄 Christmas Holiday Club 🎄
The Christmas holidays are just around the corner, and we’re ready to make it an unforgettable time for your little ones! Our Christmas Holiday Club runs on the following dates, from 7.30am - 6pm:
Week commencing: 23rd Dec: Monday, Tuesday and Friday
Week commencing 30th Dec: Monday, Tuesday and Friday
We have plenty of exciting activities lined up, including:

🎨 Christmas Arts and Crafts
🌳 Trips to the local park (weather permitting)
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Although the school day may feel lengthy for children, many parents find themselves in need of childcare beyond the six-hour school schedule.
Whether you adhere to a regular 9-5 workday, navigate changing shifts, or manage hybrid work arrangements, our Before and After-School Care services offer parents invaluable peace of mind and remove the stress of searching for high-quality childcare from your already busy schedule!
At The Learning Tree Explorers, we go beyond simply providing childcare; we create a dynamic and enriching environment for children aged 5-12 years attending various local schools. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering growth and curiosity by curating a diverse array of engaging activities within our welcoming and enriching environment.
We transform the time outside of school into a thrilling adventure, encouraging children to explore their interests, build new skills, and develop meaningful connections with peers! From homework help to creative arts, and outdoor exploration to team-building activities, we strive to make every moment a valuable and enjoyable learning experience.
Now With Two Locations!
We are thrilled to announce that The Learning Tree Explorers now operates from two locations, offering out-of-school care and wraparound services to children from Llangstun School and Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd Welsh School!
Wraparound Service
If your child is part of our approved schools, we can drop them off in the morning (after providing breakfast to power little explorers on their daily quests, of course!) and collect them from school in the afternoon.
When they join us after school, they can enjoy a yummy dinner and continue their adventure outside of the classroom with our fun activities, or receive help with their homework until you’re ready to pick them up!
We provide the Wrap-around Service for the following schools:
Langstone Nursery and Primary School
Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd Nursery and Primary School.
HOLIDAY CLUB

At The Learning Tree Explorers, we understand the challenges of planning activities for each week of the school holidays, particularly when it comes to older children who are constantly seeking new and exciting experiences!
Nestled near farms with the farmer's permission, our church hall offers access to explore nature, encounter chickens, and enjoy a nearby brook/stream. At The Learning Tree Explorers, we create a safe and enriching environment for outdoor discovery and educational exploration.
Our Holiday Club offers a diverse range of activities to ensure that every child finds something they love! From unleashing creativity through music, drama, arts and crafts, jewellery making and baking, to hands-on experiences like soap making and hama beads, each day at Learning Tree Explorers Holiday Club is filled with exploration, discovery, and heaps of fun!"
